LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The Christian Medical & Dental Association at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine is proud to announce Greenbrier Valley’s Greatest Hits, a multi-band concert dedicated to raising funds for and bringing awareness to Saturday of Service (SOS), a 501c3 non-profit food ministry. The event will bring together musical talent from or with ties to Greenbrier County for a night of bluegrass, pop, country, and rock to support food insecurity in the Greenbrier Valley and beyond. The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 28. 2026, in the Student Center Conference Room at WVSOM in Lewisburg, West Virginia, from 6:30-11 p.m.

With food insecurity affecting many in our community, local musicians are stepping up to support Saturday of Service and its’ mission to provide meals to anyone who needs or wants a meal in the Greenbrier Valley and beyond. The concert will feature live performances by various artists, offering a diverse lineup to ensure a high-energy, memorable night. Opening the evening will be medical students from the WVSOM Music & Dance in Medicine Club who will perform cover songs from various genres. Richard Hefner and the Black Mountain Bluegrass Boys, with special guests Bob Foster and David Crandall, formerly of the Ramp Supper Band, will follow. The Decades Band, West Virginia’s custom cover band, will perform hits from various decades. Closing out the night will be Steel Pterodactyl, a West Virginia rock, funk, and groove band, highlighting their original songs. Between sets, enjoy the rising Nashville star, singer/songwriter, Zoe Jean Fowler, performing her original music.

The Saturday of Service food ministry has seen a significant increase in demand, so it is important to ensure that no one in the community is hungry. Bringing together local artists creates a fun, impactful night where every ticket sold helps provide food relief in our region.

In addition to live music, the event will feature dancing, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and a gift experience silent auction to further boost donations. Prioritizing shared time over material items, the silent auction will feature gift experiences to create lasting memories, offering opportunities for adventure, learning, and connection.

Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the official Saturday of Service Facebook page and clicking on the Zeffy link. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Saturday of Service’s food ministry.

Partnerships are available to businesses that want to show their support for this important event. To become a Greenbrier Valley Greatest Hits partner, visit the Saturday of Service Facebook page to view the event flyer or contact 304-646-6929 for more information.

Based at Edgewood Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg, Saturday of Service acts as a Matthew 25 mission by being active disciples and making a difference in our community and the world.

Saturday of Service is committed to feeding anyone who needs or wants a meal in the Greenbrier Valley and beyond. Jesus wants us to serve others with love and kindness, without expecting anything in return. Yet in return, we get everything.

Help us feed the need through music as we focus on nourishing our neighbors by “putting hunger relief at center stage!”
