LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – In recognition of Social Work Month this March, the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia’s Lewisburg Permanency Program will host a series of Virtual Open House Question & Answer sessions every Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. via Zoom.
These relaxed, no-pressure sessions are to give community members an opportunity to learn what foster care really looks like, ask questions, and connect with the permanency staff who support children and families every day. Whether you are curious about becoming a foster parent, or just want to speak with or thank a social worker, these sessions are open to everyone.
Participants can learn more about foster care and the role of permanency services, ask questions in an informal and welcoming environment, explore meaningful ways to make a difference in a child’s life, and discover how they can play a role in supporting West Virginia’s children and families.
**The meetings are informational in nature. Permanency workers are not able to provide legal advice during these sessions.**
