CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVDN)— The West Virginia Division of Personnel, in collaboration with WorkForce West Virginia, is pleased to announce that the 2026 Job Opportunity Expo will be held on March 9, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the WorkForce West Virginia office at 5707 MacCorkle Avenue SE, Charleston.

“This in-person career fair provides applicants with the opportunity to meet one-on-one with agency representatives about specific state jobs and to get a better understanding of what is needed for each position,” said Sheryl Webb, director of the Division of Personnel.

Following the strong turnout and success of the 2025 Job Opportunity Expo, this year’s event aims to connect even more job seekers with meaningful public service career paths. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with agency representatives, explore job openings, learn about competitive state benefits, and gain insight into the many ways state employees support West Virginia communities.

The expo welcomes job seekers of all backgrounds — from entry level candidates to seasoned professionals — who are interested in stable, mission-driven careers. Staff will be available to assist with the application process and answer questions about state hiring, training, and advancement opportunities.

Don’t miss out on this chance to explore a career that makes a difference. The 2026 Job Opportunity Expo is your opportunity to discover how your skills can serve the people of West Virginia.
