RAINELLE, W.Va. (WVDN) — The Rainelle Fire Department is inviting the community to kick off the holiday season with a Free Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The event will be held at the Rainelle Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) and is free for children to attend. The menu includes classic breakfast favorites: pancakes, sausage and a choice of orange juice or milk.
Children 12 and under will have the opportunity to see and greet Santa Claus before enjoying their breakfast. The fire department is setting up special features for the event, including:
Model Train Display: A small model train layout will be set up, featuring the Meadow River Lumber Co. Heisler #6, showcasing a piece of local industrial history.
Train Set Giveaway: Children will receive a free ticket upon arrival for a special train set giveaway.
The Rainelle Fire Department, which has hosted 16 past events and maintains a strong following, encouraged the public to join them to celebrate the Christmas Season.
