ALDERSON W.Va. (WVDN) – The Alderson Women’s Club met on Nov. 4 and was privileged to have 17 veterans from the local area as their guests.    After conducting a brief business meeting, President Betty Thomas welcomed our veterans and their guests. A delicious meal was served, and appreciation was expressed to the veterans for their service.

Officials said, “Our club will be meeting again on Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. at the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church. This meeting will be a dinner followed by an auction of donated items that serves as a fundraiser for our club. We will also be awarding scholarships to three very deserving high school seniors.   Everyone is welcome to attend.”
