Annual Reading of the Declaration of Independence in Marlinton Announced

MARLINTON W.Va. (WVDN) – The public is invited to the 24th annual public reading of the 1776 Declaration of Independence, at noon, on the Fourth of July in front of the Pocahontas County Courthouse in Marlinton.

Attendees can enjoy free watermelon; information and discussion will be available about securing the rights asserted in that document.
