Amherstdale, W.Va. (WVDN) – On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, BCI Logan and Troopers from the Logan Detachment responded to Seberts Alley, Amherstdale, WV to execute a search warrant after an extensive investigation by BCI Logan. A search of the residence and consent to search of the adjacent residence resulted in the discovery of suboxone strips, 23 lbs. of packaged marijuana, 2 oz. of fentanyl and over fourteen (14) thousand dollars in U.S. currency. The suspects, Ricky Dale Browning, 36, of Amherstdale, WV, Jennings Spears, 36, of Amherstdale, WV, and Linda Spears, 73, of Amherstdale, WV, were charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, fentanyl and suboxone, arraigned by the Logan County Magistrate after processing and transported to Southwestern Regional Jail in lieu of bond.
