LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – A new, one-of-a-kind business offering a variety of custom art, crystals, jewelry and engraved products has opened its doors in the heart of downtown Lewisburg. Stepping Stones Creations, located at 765 Jefferson Street South, Suite F, is gearing up for its official grand opening on Saturday, April 12.

Stepping Stones Creations, features an eclectic mix of handcrafted items, including custom-designed cups, leather keychains, wood signs, crystals and unique jewelry. It also offers personalized engraving services for items such as hats, coasters and other leather goods. The business operates in partnership with Turtle Shell Publishing, a sister company that Ashlea Jones has been running since 2014. Turtle Shell Publishing specializes in books across a broad range of genres, from children’s literature and young adult novels to Christian fiction, supernatural tales, coloring books and poetry.

Jones, a native of Lewisburg, is the owner of both Stepping Stones Creations and Turtle Shell Publishing. While she has been running the publishing company since 2014, she recently expanded her creative ventures by opening Stepping Stones Creations.

“I wanted to offer something unique to our community,” Jones said. “This new shop is a way for me to explore new avenues while still supporting the creative work of others. With the help of my daughter and boyfriend, this is a family business.”

Jones is joined by her partner, Kyle Brisendine, who handles the custom engraving work. Brisendine’s creations include personalized cups, leather keychains, hat patches and coasters, among several other items.

In addition to the engraving work, Jones’s daughter, Graci Marie, serves as the shop’s in-house artist. Known for her vibrant and distinctive paintings, as well as her digital art designs, Graci Marie offers customers traditional canvas pieces and hand-drawn digital images.

“We welcome custom orders for most anything,” Jones said. “Whether it’s a painting or a digital design, my daughter brings her own special touch to every project.”

The official grand opening of Stepping Stones Creations will take place on Saturday, April 12 with special promotions and a chance to meet the artists behind the creations. The event will offer the community an opportunity to explore the store’s offerings and see firsthand the variety of custom and handmade products available. While the grand opening is just around the corner, the shop is currently open to customers with varying hours and is also participating in local craft fairs and flea markets.

For more information, visit the shop’s website at www.steppingstonescreations.com, email steppingstonescreations25@gmail.com or follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/steppingstonescreations.
