Richard Dale Carter
Richard Dale Carter, 76, of Ronceverte, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Lewisburg Healthcare Center in Ronceverte.
Born March 6, 1948, at Fort Spring, WV, he was a son of the late William Henry and Mary Arretta Highlander Carter.
Richard was a self-employed Mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, James W. Carter, Harold B. Carter, C. Cletus Carter, V. Roy Carter, Lloyd A. Carter, Floyd A. Carter, and Michael Carter; as well as sisters, Anna B. Bishop, Marjorie L. Fulcher, Phyllis J. Carter, and Joan Carter Massie.
He is survived by a son, Robert Carter of Huttonsville; a sister, Dreama Joy Satterwhite of Lewisburg; a great-niece, Melanie M. Chambers (Michael) of Lewisburg; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Lewisburg Healthcare Center and staff for the care provided for Richard during his stay there and would like to extend a special thank you to Lori Pickler for the excellent care she provided to him throughout the years.
Services and burial for Richard will be private.
