MARLINTON, W.Va. (WVDN) — The Pocahontas County Opera House is excited to continue its 25th season with a captivating performance by renowned “extraordinist” Craig Karges on Nov. 23 at 7 p.m.
Karges, known for blending the art of magic with psychological principles, delivers an experience that challenges logic and captivates audiences. With over 5,000 performances across 27 countries and all 50 U.S. states, his “Experience the Extraordinary” show includes mind-bending feats, such as floating tables, mind reading, and metal bending. Karges has appeared more than 40 times on national television, including on “The Tonight Show,” CNN, and Fox News Channel. Dubbed “the next era in mystery entertainment” by Performance Magazine, he has been named Entertainer of the Year by the National Association for Campus Activities multiple times.
The Opera House is dedicated to ensuring a family-friendly and accessible environment, offering special accommodations upon request. Seating is first-come, first-served; guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to secure their spot for this spectacular event. The Opera House is grateful for the community’s continuous support, which makes such cultural offerings possible.
Tickets are available for a $10 donation for adults, while admission is free for individuals 17 and under. Tickets may be purchased online at pocahontasoperahouse.org, in person at the 4th Avenue Gallery in Marlinton, or at the venue on the day of the event.
