BOONE COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – A man was found deceased in Boone County. Police believe it to be an accidental death. The West Virginia State Police released the following statement:
“On Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024 Tpr. M.S. Hall and Tpr. R.K. Bowers of the Madison Detachment responded to a wooded area, near 1442 Easter Hollow Road in the Julian area of Boone County in reference to a Death Investigation. Upon arrival, troopers discovered that 48-year-old Jonathan B. Dolin, of Allkol, WV was timbering a wooded area and was found crushed under a tree he had just cut down. The deceased was transported to Handley Funeral Home. No foul play is suspected.”
