Dennis Lee Pauley, 87, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at his home in Ronceverte.
Dennis was born on January 27, 1933, in Ronceverte, and was the son of Perry Webster and Lula May Morgan Pauley Sr.
He was of the Baptist faith, a member of American Legion Post #26, and a veteran of the Air Force. Dennis was a retired mail carrier with U.S. Postal Service in Maryland.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Elva Martin, Arlene Pauley, and Ruby Taylor; and brother, Ted Pauley.
Dennis leaves behind his sisters, Winifred J. Pauley and Emily Holswade, both of Ronceverte, and Brenda Jacobsen of Paradise, AZ; brothers, James Pauley of Hillsboro, OH, Perry Pauley of Ronceverte, and Edwin Pauley of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Dennis’ wishes, there will be a graveside service on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the Massey-Pauley Cemetery in Ronceverte, with Pastor Dale Elwell officiating.
There will not be any visitation prior to services.
