PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION OF WEST VIRGINIA CHARLESTON

At a session of the PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION OF WEST VIRGINIA in the City of Charleston on the 3rd day of October 2024.

General Order No. 188.52

General investigation to initiate a task force to recommend rules to govern operation and maintenance of fire hydrants.

NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY TO COMMENT REGARDING RULES FOR THE INSPECTION, FLOW TESTING, AND MARKING OF PUBLIC FIRE HYDRANTS

The Public Service Commission of West Virginia is considering promulgating rules for inspecting, flow testing, and marking public fire hydrants. The proposed rules are available on the Commission website: www.psc.state.wv.us under the Case Information tab using the above General Order number. The Commission will receive written comments on the proposed rules as follows:

Initial Comments 4 p.m. November 6, 2024

Reply Comments 4 p.m. December 6, 2024

Written comments should reference to General Order No. 188.52 and numbers of the rules to which the comments pertain. Comments should be addressed or emailed to Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323.
