WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS W.Va. (WVDN) – According to a press release, employees at The Greenbrier will maintain their health insurance coverage for the time being. The update, from representatives of the Greenbrier Council of Labor Unions, states that employees represented by GCLU will continue receiving benefits. At this time, benefits are scheduled to continue through August 31.

Additionally, the GCLU is demanding that The Greenbrier fullfil is “contractual obligations.” According to GCLU Chairperson Peter Bostic, they “remain hopeful” that an agreement can be reached between The Greenbrier and Amalgamated National Health Fund so that employee’s benefits can continue.
