Sharon Spinks Dudley, 70, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019, after a short battle with cancer at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV.
She was born on May 4, 1948, in Alvon, WV.
Sharon was a lifelong resident of White Sulphur Springs. She worked at Cox’s Department Store, The Greenbrier, The Liquor Shop, and then became a homemaker. Sharon was a yard sale enthusiast, and loved to go on shopping trips. Sharon was a mother, grandmother, and a great-grandmother. These were her biggest joys in life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vernard F. Spinks; mother, Lonie J. Spinks; her brothers, Jimmy Spinks, Marvin Spinks, and Oliver Spinks; and sister, Wanda Scott.
She is survived by daughter, Mandy Dudley Howard (Michael) of White Sulphur Springs; son, Thomas William Dudley Jr. (Jacqueline) of Lewisburg; a granddaughter, Cristin Krinke (Darrel) of White Sulphur Springs; two great-grandchildren, Jared and Elane Krinke, both of White Sulphur Springs; two sisters, Loretta Ayers of White Sulphur Springs, and Barbara Smith of Covington, VA; and many special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019, from 3-5 p.m., with a memorial service to immediately follow at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV, 24901.
