Betty Lou Burns Bradley, age 80, of Union, WV, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019, at the Springfield Center in Lindside, WV.
Born November 5, 1938, at Hollywood, WV, she was the daughter Jimmy and Rubie Nichols Burns.
Betty was a loving homemaker and had previously worked at the B&W IGA grocery store in Union, that she and her husband owned and operated for 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, and especially loved making cakes for different folks at Christmas time. Betty also loved her family, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty was a member of the Crimson Springs Church at Zenith, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Marion L. Bradley, Jr.; and one sister, Willie Ratliff.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Marion L. Bradley, Sr. of Union; daughter-in-law, Renae Roberts Bradley of Sinks Grove, WV; four sisters, Barbara Weikle of Union, Nody Wilson of Sinks Grove, WV, Lanelle Vandegrift (James) of Union, and Sue Davis of Hollywood; one brother, Johnny Burns (Sherri) of Sinks Grove; two grandchildren, Jason Bradley (Brittany) of Caldwell, WV, and Tiffany Blume (Chris) of Forest Hill, WV; five great-grandchildren, Ryker and Sydni Bradley of Caldwell, and Jake, Natalie, and Silas Blume of Forest Hill; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2019, at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, with Pastor Jim Rogers officiating. Burial follow in the Fairview Cemetery at Keenan, WV.
