Kenneth Robert Anderson, 78, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away Tuesday morning, October 23, 2018, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Robert was born October 28, 1939, in Alderson, WV, and was the son of Lake Eugene and Roxie Zimmerman Anderson.
He had served in the U.S. Army and National Guard and was a member of the Moose Lodge. Robert was an avid card player and loved watching westerns. He was a retired lead lineman with VEPCO.
Predeceasing Mr. Anderson, other than his parents, was a son, Kenneth Anderson; and his brothers, Carl “Duke” Anderson and Lake Anderson.
Surviving are his sons, Ronnie Anderson (Jill) of Ronceverte, and Eddie Anderson (Jeannie) of Roanoke, VA; sister, Ann Geiger of Michigan; grandchildren, Debbie Yates, Crystal Anderson (Darrin Lowe), Arica Anderson (Shawn Carter), Kayla Anderson (Jake Wade), and Nicholas Anderson (Kayla); great-grandchildren, Bayley Jones, Creed Carter, Lockland Carter, Cadeance Melara, Samarah Melara, Caleb Smith, and Keira Smith; and his fuzzy companion, Al.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018, at 2 p.m., at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte, with interment to follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg, WV.
The family will receive their family and friends on Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
