I’m Christine B. Stump, and I’m running for Family Court Judge in Greenbrier and Monroe Counties. With over thirty years of legal experience, much of it dedicated to family law, I’ve made it my mission to support families through their most challenging times. My career began after graduating from Tulane Law School in 1986, leading me to specialize in complex cases involving divorce, child custody, and guardianship matters. In 2014, I founded Stump and Assoc. PLLC, furthering my commitment to providing compassionate legal support. My dedication to our community goes beyond the courtroom. After the floods in 2016, I co-founded “Heal the Greenbrier River Trail,” a testament to my belief in giving back and improving our shared environment.
Moreover, as a grandmother, a single working mother, and someone who has experienced divorce, I bring a deeply personal understanding to my professional role, emphasizing empathy, fairness, and efficiency. I’m running for Family Court Judge to make our family court system more accessible, equitable, and responsive. My vision is to ensure timely hearings, listen attentively to every family’s story, and prioritize the safety and well-being of children. With your support, I promise to balance the scales for families, offering a courtroom that understands and cares.
