INVITATION FOR BID

CELL 7 EXPANSION CONSTRUCTION

GREENBRIER COUNTY LANDFILL

GREENBRIER COUNTY SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY

LEWISBURG, GREENBRIER COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA

The Greenbrier County Solid Waste Authority is seeking sealed bids for the construction of the upcoming Cell 7 expansion at the Greenbrier County Landfill. Work includes mass excavation for subgrade development, installation of soils and geosynthetics components of the liner system, placement of protective cover material, and other construction activities related to the landfill expansion. A detailed bid document will be available from Alliance Consulting, Inc. in either hard or digital format. A mandatory pre bid meeting will be conducted on site on July 14, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. that all bidders must attend located at 480 Landfill Road, Lewisburg, WV 24901.

Sealed bids will be accepted until July 28, 2025 until 1:00 p.m. Bids will be opened on July 28, 2025 at 1:05 p.m. All bids must be sealed and marked as “Liner Bid”. Bids can be mailed or dropped off to GCSWA at 480 Landfill Road, Lewisburg, WV 24901.

Bid documents may be obtained by contacting the Project Engineer, Brian Shorts, PE at Alliance Consulting, Inc. at 304-255-0491, or by email to bshorts@aci-wv.com. There will be a nonrefundable charge of $125 for the hard copies of the bid documents.

All other questions can be directed to Kelly Childers, Landfill Manager at 304-645-2489.

The Greenbrier County Solid Waste Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all formalities.
