Greenbrier West’s Preslee Treadway and James Monroe’s Maggie Boroski were named to the Class A all-state basketball first team this week. Treadway averaged over 20 points per game this season and scored 46 in her final game of the year, a loss to River View in the regional finals. She also hit the 1,000-career point mark that night as well.
Boroski paced the Mavericks all year and averaged over 19 points per night.
The Mavs’ Mary Beth Meadows was named to the second team. Her teammate, Mya Dunlap was selected as honorable mention as was Maddie Fields of Greenbrier West.
