As the Greenbrier Valley prepares for the arrival of Hurricane Florence, the Greenbrier COunty Commission emphasized the imporatance for residents to be signed up for emergency alert text messages provided by the Greenbrier County Public Notification System.
Participants can choose which alerts to receive, including notifications about thunderstorms, wind chill, heat, winter storms, flash floods, ice storms, and more weather events.
