The season’s first home game was a success last week with a victory over Huntington. Lightning and a double rainbow made for a beautful display, but this caused the varsity game to be delayed and the JV game to be cut in half.
Shortly into the first half varisty player Chase Circle #14 skillfully used his head to knock a corner kick over the defenders and into the goal Halftime left the Spartans up 2-0 after another corner kick caused a penalty kick (Pk). Seth Baker #6 confidently placed the ball outside the goalie’s reach for the East goal.
