Neva Michele Coats, 56, of Covington, VA, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018, at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA.
Michele was born June 6, 1962, in Newberry, SC, to the late Jack Herman and Norma Colleene Helmintoller Coats.
She was a member of the Alvon United Methodist Church and was a maid at the The Greenbrier.
Michele is survived by a sister, Sonya Mitchell of Mississippi; brothers, Jack Kevin Coats and wife, Elizabeth “Sissy,” of White Sulphur Springs, Kenneth Brian Coats and wife, Tammy, of White Sulphur Springs, Kyle Travis Coats of Pearisburg, VA, Carlton Lee Coats of Covington; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a soon-to-be great-nephew or great-niece.
Funeral service will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at the Alvon United Methodist Church with Pastor Robert “Bobby” McClintic officiating. Burial will follow at the Mapledale Cemetery.
