Ronal Marvin Lewis Sr., 72, of Meadow Bridge, WV, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.
Born May 29, 1946, at Esty, WV, he was the son of Lacy Marvin Lewis and Eula Gladys Lewis.
Ronal retired from Northrop Grumman in Newport News, VA, as a firefighter. He was a member of the Hines Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Aaron Don Lewis and David Homer Lewis; stepmother, Gloria Ann Lewis; and son, Albert Kenneth Trim Jr.
Survivors include six sons, Christian Von Lewis (Cynthia) of Princeton, WV, Brian Oneil Lewis (Susie) of Spanishburg, WV, Ronal Marvin Lewis Jr. (Nicole) of Williamsburg, VA, Anthony Lynn Lewis (Jen) of Newport News, VA, Richard Edwin Trim (Stephanie) of Hampton, VA, and Michael Paul Trim of Farmville, VA; daughter, Rachel Nicole Lewis of Newport News; his caretaker and companion, Anita Simms, and her son, Ian Simms of Meadow Bridge, WV; sister, Deleath Funk (Joseph) of Chesterfield, VA; brothers, Otis Lewis (Wilda) of Williamsburg, WV, Hilton Lewis (Donna) of White Sulphur Springs, WV, and a half-brother, Lacy Lewis Jr. of Renick, WV; his second wife, Theresa Eileen Lewis of Newport News; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 4 p.m., Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel in Lewisburg, WV, with Pastor Gary Eisenman officiating. It was Ronal’s wish to be cremated following his services.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of the service, Sunday, at the funeral home.
