A Greenbrier County man has been found guilty of sexual abuse in the third degree against a four-year-old girl after his plea hearing on Tuesday, August 28. Clarence Danley Jr, 68, plead no contest to the charge, and the court found him guilty of the offense.
In November of 2017, Danley was sentenced for a conviction of felony first degree sexual assault and is currently serving a sentence of imprisonment for one to five years and 25 years of probation after being released. According to the prosecution, after Danley was initially indicted in early 2015 for that offense, the Child and Youth Advocacy Center (CYAC) conducted a forensic interview with the four-year-old victim, whom Danley babysat.
