Deputies with the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office were able to quickly apprehend a suspect after one winner of the Ronceverte River Festival rubber ducky race was robbed of her winnings, credit cards, and ID.
Deputy Brandon McCormick of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Greenbrier River Trail Parking Lot near Stonehouse Road in Caldwell in response to a call. Elizabeth Wickline, a recent winner of the Ronceverte River Festival rubber duck race, had returned to her truck to find the money, their ID, and credit cards were gone.
