Norma Heaster Legg, 81, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
Born August 21, 1936, she was the daughter of Monroe and Ina Williams Heaster.
Norma was a homemaker, an excellent cook, and loved quilting. She was a member of Trout Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William “Bill” Legg; a son, Rick; brothers, Gaylan and Larry Heaster; and a sister, Vera Harding.
Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Terry Bare and husband, Dudley; sister-in-law, Carol Gragg and husband, James Lee; very dear friends, Patti and Duke Waid, Cora Hunter, and Alfred and Vi Clowser; her special boys, Jameson Hunter and Jackson Williams; several nieces and nephews; and many friends and neighbors.
Services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with Pastor Lewis Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.
Visitation will be held from noon until time of the service.
Pallbearers will be Michael Gragg, Brent Gragg, Austin Gragg, Patrick Dolin, Mike Burke, and Gary Williams.
