The United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a temporary order to prevent Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) from building across West Virginia’s rivers.
In response to a petition by the West Virginia Rivers Coalition, Indian Creek Watershed Association, Appalachian Voices, Chesapeake Climate Action Network, and Sierra Club, the order stays the pipeline’s ability to continue construction based on permitting rules.
