LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – A crowd gathered in downtown Lewisburg to march in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 15, despite the icy path, frigid temperatures and falling snow. In a show of community strength, holding signs and persevering through the conditions, the crowd completed the march route to continue the celebration. Additionally, several individuals not participating watched from nearby vehicles and businesses.
