Vaida Counts Waid, 82, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, gained her heavenly wings, Saturday, May 19, 2018, after a long battle with cancer.
Born December 20, 1935, at Hot Springs, VA, she was the daughter of the late John William and Grace Ginger Rodgers.
She is survived by her dear husband, Nelson Waid; daughter, Sandra Hall and husband, Steve; son, Ralph Counts; daughter, Donna Colaw and husband, Mike; son, Michael Counts and Vickie Thomas; three grandchildren, Michael Scott and wife, Sarah, and Michelle and Mikayla Colaw; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, Joseph, Joey, Savannah and Drema Terry; also three special little boys, Elijah, Matthew, and Byron.
Funeral service will be held at11 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at the Wild Meadow Baptist Church with Pastor Roger “Wahoo” McDaniel and Pastor Lowell O’Dell officiating. Burial will follow in the Cleek Cemetery in Warm Springs, VA.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
