Intense thunderstorms in the Greenbrier Valley over the weekend kept most residents inside, closed several roads, and kept employees at Kroger in Ronceverte busy.
According to the Greenbrier County 911 Center, Fort Springs Pike was still closed as of press time due to flooding. In addition, Tuckahoe Tunnel was opened, but is still covered in high water.
