SETH, WV- If you are wondering if the Greenbrier West Cavaliers will allow another point this season, then you are not alone. And the thing is, it is a legitimate thought.
The Cavaliers shut out the Sherman Tide 48-0 on Friday, Oct. 20 and drove their total number of shutouts this season to five. Actually, over the last six games, Greenbrier West has given up a total of eight points for an astonishing average of 1.3 points per game.
There will not be many losses along the way with those defensive numbers.
Cole Vandall completed 8-of-12 passes for 144 yards and three TDs. Vandall now has 20 TD passes on the season and has thrown at least three in four straight games.
Jake Pate rushed 15 times for 139 yards and four total touchdowns. Tucker Lilly had two TD catches and Isaac Agee had 91 yards receiving. Ethan Holliday led the Cavs “D” with nine tackles, and he also returned a punt 59 yards for a score.
West is now 8-0 on the season.
