Urma Virginia Justice, 86, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018, at the Genesis Center in White Sulphur Springs.
Born in Lewisburg, WV, on May 22, 1931, she was the daughter of Kent Johnson Justice and Charles Duffy Justice Jr. She was the granddaughter of Urma Kent “Mim” Miller, who also raised her.
She graduated with the class of 1948 at White Sulphur Springs High School. She was a proud Green Devil.
Employed at The Greenbrier Resort, she worked for 12 years as a front office cashier and later in the telephone office for 27 years. She was a member of the Quarter Century Club and retired in 1993.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Janetta Justice; and a half-sister, Lisa Justice; along with her two furry four legged “boys,” Montana and Dakota.
Survivors include her son, Nicky Oren Justice (Dorothy); half-sisters, Patty Feury of White Sulphur Springs and Kathy Gunter (Terry) of Dublin, VA; half-brothers, Jerry Justice (Paula) of White Sulphur Springs and Charles Duffy Justice III (Dottie) of Columbus, OH. Others are her cousin, Carmine Kent Burnette of Winchester, VA, and a host of other cousins.
Urma was of the Protestant faith. At her request, she will be cremated, and the ashes will be interred in Hillcrest Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs. A short graveside service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. John Kelly officiating.
