Nancy Carolyn Bragg was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at the age of 75.
Nancy Carolyn Bragg was born February 26, 1942, daughter of the late Harry and Cora Martin and sister of the late Izetta and Buford Martin.
She carried many titles: daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and friend, to name a few. The title she cherished most was child of God. A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, she dedicated her life to loving the Lord and loving others. At various churches and to various ages, she was a Sunday school teacher for about 30 years. She baked cakes, made crafts, sung to the Lord, traveled to many revivals, loved to cook, was a phenomenal seamstress, volunteered at many churches, was a loving mother, and spent countless hours reading the Bible and in prayer. Most of you reading this have directly or indirectly benefited from this woman, not because she was a good woman, but because she was willing to obey God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Izetta and Buford Martin; and a son, John O’Dell.
She is survived by sisters and brothers, Steve, Shirley, Bruce, William, and Betty; and three other sons, Roger O’Dell, David O’Dell, and Thomas Bragg.
