Damon Ray Dotson, 68, of Neola, WV, formerly of Summersville, WV, passed away, Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his home.
Born July 1, 1949, at Sharples, WV, he was the son of Boody and Mary Ann Williams Dotson.
Ray was a U. S. Army Veteran and he attended the Wild Meadow Baptist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife, Virginia “Ann” Dotson; son, Kevin Dotson (Angela) of Summersville; daughters, Loretta Sanson (Charlie) of Cowen, WV, Donna Barnett (Jerry) of Dille, WV, and Heaven Yoder (Jason) of Summersville; sisters, Alice Ferrell (Lester), Charlotte Perdue (Ronnie), and Sherry Smith (Scott), all of Peytona, WV; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including two grandnieces.
Funeral service was at 2 PM, Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the Wild Meadow Baptist Church, Rt. 92, White Sulphur Springs, WV, with Pastor Roger “Wahoo” McDaniel and Pastor Ralph Hubbard officiating. Burial followed in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg, WV.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service, Sunday, January 7 at the church.
