Gerald B. ‘Jerry’, Lewis, 73, of Bealeton, VA, died on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA.
He was born in Renick, WV, on June 14, 1944, a son of Joe and Viva Lewis.
Mr. Lewis worked at Warrenton Auto Service for over 40 years as an auto body repairman.
He loved being outdoors; hunting, fishing and gardening. Above all, he loved his family.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Gene Lewis; and two sisters, Phyllis Lewis and Danese Hamrick.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Charlotte M. Lewis; two children, Gerald R. “Randy” Lewis of Culpeper, VA, Regina Jenkins and her husband, Allen, of Bealeton; sisters, Edna Christian and Judy Frazer and her husband, Bill, all of Renick, WV. He was the grandfather of Katrina Ramsburg (husband, Kawliga) of Culpeper; Amanda Embrey (husband, Jeff) of Remington, VA; great-grandsons, Brian Iannarelli and Will Iannarelli; great-granddaughter, Kimber Ramsburg and another great-grandchild due in July. He also has a son, Maynard McFerrin and his wife, Robin and their daughters in West Virginia.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 11, 2018, from 6-7 PM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186, where memorial services will be held at 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
