Kathleen Burke Masters Morgan of Ronceverte, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Greenbrier Health Care Center.
She was born on January 22, 1920, in Ronceverte, WV, to John Tony Masters and Mary Ann Pauley Masters.
Kathleen was a homemaker, former 4-H leader, Sunday school teacher, and church custodian. She was a lifelong member of Greenbrier Regular Baptist Church. She loved to cook, bake, and do many crafts. Her main hobby was making handmade quilts for her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Lambert Morgan; a son, Dayton Morgan, and his wife, Sylvia Broyles Morgan; brothers, Forest Masters, Hubbard Masters, and Arnold Masters; sisters, Marjorie Wykle, Nellie Lockhart, and Vergie Munsey.
Surviving are her son, Delbert Morgan (Sarah) of Second Creek, WV; daughters, Charlotte Wong (Paul) of Lewisburg, WV, Carol Ramsey (Ernie) of Salem, VA, and Linda Bennett (Manfred) of Ronceverte; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Donna Estep (Pete) of Sinks Grove, WV. Also nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The funeral service will be 1 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Greenbrier Baptist Church in Ronceverte, with her grandson, the Rev. Jason Bennett, officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenbrier Baptist Church Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the church from 11 AM-1 PM on Saturday, January 6.
