LEWISBURG, W.Va, (WVDN) – September schedule for Carnegie Hall.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 1: CARNEGIE HALL FANTASY GALA: RUBIES & RHODODENDRONS – Special Event Fundraiser at The Greenbrier on Sept. 1, at 6 p.m. The event includes an evening of live music, dancing, dinner, drinks, and both live and silent auctions. For more information visit carnegiehallwv.org, call 304.645.7917, or stop by 611 Church Street, Lewisburg, West Virginia.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 14: BIG SHOTS – Carnegie Hall’s 2023 Ivy Terrace Concert Series concludes Thursday, Sept. 14, at 6:30 p.m. with Billy Joel tribute band Big Shots. Ivy Terrace Concerts take place outside in front of Carnegie Hall and are free to the public. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and pack a picnic. THURSDAY, SEPT. 28: MAINSTAGE LOUNGE – Join Carnegie Hall for the Artrageous Mainstage Lounge preshow reception in the Board Room from 6 to 6:45 p.m., Thursday, September. Free admission. Cash bar and snacks are available. 

THURSDAY, SEPT. 28: ARTRAGEOUS – Mainstage Performance on Thursday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. featuring Artrageous. Artrageous’ high-energy performance is a combination of all arts on one stage, combined with humor and interaction in a frenzy of movement and color. Tickets start at $30/adult and $10/student. 

ROTATING GALLERIES:

OLD STONE ROOM GALLERY – “A Sense of Place” by Ellen Fisher. The exhibit runs through Oct. 27.

MUSEUM GALLERY – “Earth and Sky” by Jorn Mork, Nan Morgan, and Donna Toney. The exhibit runs through Oct. 27.

LOBBY GALLERY – “A Watercolor Journey” by Jeanne Brenneman. The exhibit runs through Oct. 27.

BOARD ROOM GALLERY – “40 Years of Bringing the Arts to Life” Exhibit. TFN.

PERMANENT EXHIBIT:

ARTS FROM THE ASHES: THE HISTORY OF CARNEGIE HALL – The exhibit features memorabilia, photographs, artifacts and more of Carnegie Hall since its construction in 1901. The new location is in the Board Room located on the first floor adjacent to the auditorium. Free admission.
