Betty Frances Hoke Hubbard, 82, originally of Glace, WV passed away, Friday, December 22, 2017, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, in Roanoke, VA, following a short illness.
Born May 25, 1935, she was the daughter of Jessie and Neva Spence Hoke.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Toney Hubbard Sr.; two sisters, Julia Foley and Helen Morgan; three brothers, Kenny, James, and Leo Hoke; two foster sisters, Stella Dowdy and Cathleen Feury; one foster brother, Oakie Hoke; and a stepdaughter, Ruth McCarthy.
Survivors include her children, Marty Hubbard and Dreama Forren, both of Alderson, WV; stepchildren, Toney Hubbard Jr. of Glace, Lewis Hubbard of Second Creek, WV, Carol Hubbard Hoke of White Sulphur Springs, WV, Ralph Hubbard of White Sulphur Springs, and Lucille McDowell of White Sulphur Springs; two sisters, Nellie Boggs of Second Creek and Sadie Feury of White Sulphur Springs; two brothers, Roscoe Hoke of Glace and Arnold Hoke of White Sulphur Springs; foster brother, Julian Hoke; four grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; six great-great- grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren; 20-plus step-great-grandchildren; and numerous step-great-great- grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 AM, Friday, December 29, 2017, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV, with Pastor Andy Howdock officiating.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Thursday, December 28, at the funeral home.
