LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Earlier today (Aug. 7), The West Virginia Daily News reported that a man from Barboursville, Jarred David Shultz, was missing in the Lewisburg area. At 3:50 p.m., the Lewisburg Police Department released a statement noting that they had located Shultz; however, the news remains grim.
The statement says, “At approximately 12:36 p.m. on Aug. 7, 2023, the deceased body of a male believed to be Mr. Shultz was located in a wooded area near Interstate 64 and Route 219 in Lewisburg. There is no foul play suspected in this incident at this time.”
