Mona Gray Brown, 81, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, formerly of Covington, VA, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Bath Community Hospital with her family at her bedside.
Mona loved spending time with her children grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved to cook, crochet, travel, and was an avid bingo player. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, W. Verson Brown; her parents, Lucille and Hedrick Wickline; brother, “Cubbie” Wickline; and sister, Barbara Ratliff.
She is survived by four children, Debbie Taylor and husband, Greg, Gary Brown and wife, Martha, LeeAnne Churchman and husband, David, and David Brown; sister, Norma Rock; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Monday, November 27, 2017, from 6-8 PM at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, November 28, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs, followed with burial at Fletchers Chapel United Methodist Church in Callaghan, VA.
