The American Red Cross is setting up across West Virginia to receive blood donations. Many people wait until a disaster strikes to donate blood, but the need for blood is consistent year round.
“We know you’re busy this time of year, and so are our regular blood and platelet donors,” said the Red Cross in a press statement. “In fact, many delay giving during the busy holiday season, but the need for blood doesn’t take a break. … With your help, we can remind people that by taking a little time to give, they can give patients more life.”
