GREENBRIER COUNTY, W.Va. (WVND) – The Greenbrier Valley Conservation District (GVCD) is accepting applications July 5-31 for the FY24 Agricultural Enhancement Program.
For the 2024 fiscal year, cost-share efforts will be focused on best management practices that most support rotational grazing to increase both conservation and production.
Applications will be accepted from cooperators in Greenbrier, Monroe and Pocahontas counties for lime application (up to $4,500 maximum cost-share), pasture division fencing (up to $5,000 maximum cost-share), water and woodland exclusion fencing (up to $5,000 maximum cost-share), alternative water sources (up to $5,000 maximum cost-share) and Comprehensive Pasture Development or CPD (up to $10,000.00 maximum cost-share).
