LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – Carnegie Hall will kick off its 40th anniversary season with a summer block party on Church Street in downtown Lewisburg, West Virginia on Saturday, July 29, from 5-9 p.m. Admission into the celebratory fundraiser is free with the music being presented by the James F. B. Peyton Fund.
An open house featuring live art demonstrations, performances by local musicians and archival exhibits throughout the historic building will take place from 5-7 p.m., followed by an outdoor evening party starting at 6 p.m. with music by Irresistible Groove. Food, drinks, local beer and wine will be available for purchase.
