Saniford Ray “Simon” Davis Jr., 57, of Muddy Creek Mountain, WV, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Charleston Area Medical Center-Memorial in Charleston, WV.
Born December 31, 1959, at Ronceverte, WV, he was the son of Iona Sheppard Davis of Lewisburg, WV, and the late Saniford Ray Davis Sr.
Simon was a pipefitter by trade.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Jake Davis.
Including his mother, survivors include two sons, Dustin Davis of Richmond, VA, and Logan Davis of Eagle Rock, VA; two daughters, Bambi Brooks and husband, Tommy, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, and Nichole Davis of Fairlea, WV; brother, Hassel Jackson of Lewisburg; two sisters, Ina Mae Quick of Lewisburg and Christy Vaughan and husband, Junior, of White Sulphur Springs; and grandchildren, Megan Brooks, Thomas Brooks Jr., Carson Kaptis, Willow Davis, and Daisy Soderstrom.
It was Simon’s wish to be cremated.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
