The Greenbrier East Spartans (1-7) felt very strongly that their second win of this season was going to come at the expense of the Parkerburg South Patriots (3-5), but, unfortunately, a couple of early mishaps set the tone, and East suffered a 29-12 defeat on Friday, October 20.
Early in the first quarter, Spartan quarterback Kyle King, who also is the punter, was back ready to punt the ball away.
