RONCEVERTE, W.Va. — The city of Ronceverte is gearing up for a gastronomic extravaganza as the highly anticipated Ronceverte Food Truck Festival kicks off on Friday, May 12-Saturday, May 13. The two-day event, which will take place from 12-9 p.m. on Friday and from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday on Edgar Avenue in downtown Ronceverte, promises a smorgasbord of mouthwatering delights from a diverse array of food trucks, live entertainment, arts and crafts vendors and family-friendly activities.
The inaugural Ronceverte Food Truck Festival will be the first of these must-visit events for food enthusiasts across West Virginia and beyond. The festival will return throughout the summer on June 16 and 17, July 14 and 15 and Aug. 4 and 5.
This month’s festival is expected to feature eight food trucks, offering culinary options from Dawg Haus, Dippin Dots, Greenbrier Dairy, Jimmy D’s Shuck Shack, Potluck, the Rolling Stove, the Waffle Wagon and When Pigs Fly.
“This is not an event you’re going to want to miss. We have incredible food trucks lined up, live music, artisanal vendors and games for all ages. I really think there will be something for everybody. Bring your family; bring your friends — Ronceverte is the place to be, and this festival is just a taste of what’s to come,” said event organizer Alex DeGraff.
“The city is thrilled to host the food truck festival, the first of what we believe will be many to come,” said Ronceverte Mayor Deena Pack. “It is going to be an amazing time for everyone — delicious food, great music, arts and crafts, and there’s something for people of all ages. It’s going to be a very special event. The city must give a huge thanks to the organizers of this event, and we’ve worked closely with them to make sure that the food truck festival is a fun and safe event for all!”
In addition to the food trucks, the festival will feature a variety of live music performances from local and regional artists, ensuring a lively atmosphere throughout the day. On Friday, musical guests include Will Sarver, Distant Light, the Thomas Taylor Band and Lillie King. Saturday brings Bryce George, Absolute Love Affair, OneDayNow, Allan Dale Sizemore and Of the Dell.
Admission to the Ronceverte Food Truck Festival is free with food and beverages available for purchase from individual vendors.
