Delos C. “Sheep” Marion Jr., 68, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017, at his residence.
Sheep was born December 9, 1948, in Covington, VA, the son of Delos C. Marion Sr. and Lucille Princess Carter Marion.
Sheep was a U.S. Army veteran, was a custodian for the Greenbrier County Schools, worked as a caddy at The Greenbrier hotel, and worked at Kellwood and Back Creek Dam project.
He was an avid sports fan and golfer and had played softball with the Black Socks. He had coached area youth in football, basketball, and baseball.
Mr. Marion was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Brandon; and a nephew, Ronald Marion.
Surviving are his sisters, Delores Ann Arnold of White Sulphur Springs and Peggy Miller of Ronceverte, WV; nieces and nephews, Nanette Arnold, Wilbur Arnold Jr., Michael Arnold, John Arnold and wife, Heather, Theresa Parker, Veronica Meadows and husband, Kenneth II, and Timothy Brandon and wife, Maria; grandnieces and grandnephews, Tasha Arnold, Christina Ward and husband, Chad, Dashaye Brandon, Thaddeous Brandon, Hezekiah Brandon, and Jasmine and Desiree Arnold; great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, Christian Burns, Marissa and Alysia Brandon, Colton Ward, Gunner Arnold, and JaQuan Dickerson; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held Monday, October 2, 2017, at 1 PM at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs.
The family will receive relative and friends from 11 AM until time of the services on Monday at the funeral home.
