LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – The Greenbrier County 4-H Shotgun Club has announced it will hold a bingo fundraiser on Saturday, May 6, from 5-7 p.m. in the WVU Building at the State Fair of West Virginia. There will be 17 games, and a variety of prizes will be at stake.
Proceeds will be used to support the Greenbrier County 4-H Shotgun Club and allow them to purchase the shells and supplies they need to practice, as well as for them to travel to state and national shooting contests.
Youth enrolled in the 4-H shooting sports programs are provided with a safe and thorough education on the use of firearms and wildlife conservation. They are able to develop their self-confidence by learning about sportsmanship and responsibility. Youth are also exposed to a broad array of vocation and lifelong avocational activities related to shooting sports.
Tickets need to be purchased ahead of time; organizers cannot guarantee any will be available at the door. Tickets can be purchased from members of the Greenbrier County 4-H Shotgun Club or at the Greenbrier County WVU Extension Office. Call 304-647-7408 for more information.
