Charles “Junior” Houston Morgan Jr., 81, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV, following a short illness.
Born in Ronceverte on May 15, 1936, Charles was the son of Charles H. Morgan Sr. and Lucy Morgan Morgan.
Charles was a retired school bus driver for the Greenbrier County Board of Education and was an antique collector and picker.
Other than his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a son, Clifford H. Morgan; granddaughter, Lovina Morgan; and sisters, Katherine Erskine and Dorothy Erskine.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Ruth Hoke Morgan of Ronceverte; daughters, Cheryl Drumheller and husband, Corbett, of Caldwell, WV, and Gina Rose and husband, Todd Sheffield, of Ronceverte; grandchildren, Cecilia Bucklen (Chris), Curtis Morgan, and Thomas Clifford Drumheller; special great-grandson, Draven Andrew Rose; sisters, Elloise Weikle (Calvin) of Organ Cave, WV, and Dreama Lucan (Bernie) of Organ Cave; and brother, Kermit Morgan (Bonnie) of Organ Cave.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, September 22, 2017, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte with Pastor Michael Neel officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.
Serving a pallbearers for Junior are Kermit Morgan, Billy Morgan, Steve Kirk, T.C. Drumheller, Jimmy Lucas, and Chris Bucklen.
